Entrepreneur
To build a quick, flexible, and credible digital connection between experts and Entrepreneurs.
Based on issues drawn customer-wide understanding, key questions such as definition of target clients and paint points and solutions were established to lay the foundation for thinking, and through discussion and consultation, specific and persuasive implications and insights for Key Question were derived. And by projecting this, we defined what is the reason for our service's existence.
Work Process
What struggles do entrepreneurs get when finding expertise?
It’s a challenge to access credible and up-to-date expertise
Now I have to file a tax return, but the information on the Internet is not up-to-date and I can trust it since it’s related to law and time sensitive. It's a challenge to find reliable information about when, what taxes and how to report them.
It's time sensitive, so I want to ask as quickly as possible
I've got an urgent document to hand in right now! I want to double check with an expert and see if I did it right, but the process of booking and meeting an expert takes a month. I have to submit this document to the government in a week. Otherwise, I might have to leave Canada.
$$$
Meeting an expert isn’t affordable
Usually booking experts works per hour, but I'm not affordable. Of course I respect their time and effort, but the reality is that it's too expensive for me.
What problems do experts face?
Is there a flexible and easy way for clients to reach me out?
I would like to know to make extra income anytime, anywhere by providing a customized solution for people who need my help. I will increase the popularity of my field, expand my range of activities, and promote it.
Tax Consultant
Due to COVID Pandemic, it significantly reduces the number of clients
I don't think face-to-face lesson works anymore. I need a way to build my business online at a time when the aftermath of COVID-19 is still lingering!
Guitarist
Questions pouring into my DMs.
How can I handle this better?
I want to give a proper answer to my followers and subscribers, but DMs has a lot of restrictions, so it's hard to answer questions through it. I'd like to tell you more conveniently and in more detail.

How did we visualize credibility?
We have a strong perception that newspapers is reliable. As magazine is for entertainment, trustworthy is not their top priority goal. On the other hand, we’re aware of the information on newspaper is credible and transparent. So I wanted to bring the newspaper visual cues to digital. I got a lot of inspiration for visual concept from the New York Times.

Takeaways
It was a great opportunity to learn about equitable design, accessibility and inclusivity. After we realized these concepts are very important, we saw our previous projects and other apps we are using now have a lot of room for improvement.
Before moving on to the development phase, we need to validate our prototype with user tests to see what to improve based on new information we might discover. Moreover, based on the judges' feedback that it would be great if there was a notification feature for users' convenience, we will refine our design and iterate this process.
