Design Overview

Started from CEO’s request while launching the new feature, I re-designed the existing website collaborating with the design, marketing and dev team.

UI Goal: 1. Build trust.
2. Reduce the use of primary mint color.
3. Keep the consistency with existing product.

Business Goal: Website that embraces new trading functions.

Option 1: Emphasize MintList is a web-based solution that can be done with phone

Cons:

Needed more image cues that represent the core value that we handle cars. Mint color is overloaded.

Option 2: Car with bids that symbolize that dealers compete for cars

Cons:

Too dark theme that dosen’t align with the product

Needed to include a new function trade

Usage of general car imagery and copy gives clear cue what MintList offers
